Olive Leaves and Concrete Streets

Stories of Athens, Kythera and the Lives Between

Olive Leaves and Concrete Streets is a collection of nineteen stories about love, loss, migration, family, ageing, loneliness, humour, survival and renewal.

The collection moves from Lemon Street kitchens and Kypseli apartment blocks to Piraeus quays, Pangrati rooftops, Hydra in winter and the old houses of Kythera. Its characters include sisters, widows, lovers, neighbours, returnees, exiles, performers, survivors and people discovering that a life can change long after they believed its direction had been settled.

Warm and comic in places, darker and morally complex in others, the collection looks beyond the tourist image of Greece. It presents the country as homeland, memory, inheritance and emotional refuge, connecting those who remained, those who left and those who eventually returned.

City streets. Island houses. Old secrets. New beginnings.

Greek Odyssey of the Heart

Greek Odyssey of the Heart is a novel of healing, renewal and second chances, set against the landscapes and slower rhythms of Greece.

Aimee arrives in Greece searching for distance from the life she has known. What begins as an escape gradually becomes something deeper. Through place, human connection and the quiet restoration of ordinary days, she begins to rediscover the courage to live differently.

The novel is for readers drawn to emotionally reflective fiction, Greek settings and stories about beginning again after life has changed.

Sometimes the journey away becomes the journey back to yourself.

A Journey of the Soul, Set to the Rhythm of the Aegean

When life unravels, sometimes the only way forward is to leave everything behind. Greek Odyssey of the Heart follows one woman’s brave escape from the ache of old wounds as she lands on a sunlit island where salt-sprayed mornings, jasmine-scented afternoons, and sea-stilled evenings offer a new way of being. Surrounded by strangers who become friends, she learns that healing rarely arrives in thunderclaps — more often, it grows like thyme between the stones. Set among the olive groves and harbours of Greece, this is a tender, beautifully described story of rediscovery, longing, place, purpose — and of a heart learning how to open again.
